2S Packaging is proud to announce a significant step forward in our commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable business practices. In response to growing environmental concerns and our dedication to Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, we have taken a proactive approach by installing a state-of-the-art solar panel system at our facilities.
Harnessing the power of the sun, our 88.16 kWp solar panel system is designed to generate approximately 64,360 kWh of clean, renewable electricity each year. This initiative not only helps to significantly reduce our carbon footprint but also aligns with our mission to protect the planet for future generations. By utilising solar energy, we expect to cut down about 51,488 kg of CO2 emissions annually, which is the equivalent of the air-cleaning power of around 2,340 trees.
This installation underscores our unwavering commitment to promoting sustainability across all aspects of our operations.
