What does ISO 9001:2015 mean when you buy tape?

Three practical things. Consistent spec, batch to batch: the tape or packaging material you approve on sample is what you keep receiving — micron thickness, adhesive type, roll length and core size are recorded against your order, because a 45-micron OPP tape quietly becoming a 40-micron one shows up as burst cartons weeks later. Documented processes: incoming stock checks, storage and order confirmation follow written procedures an external auditor reviews, so mistakes are caught and corrected rather than repeated. Traceability: products trace back to their batch, so one misbehaving roll tells us what else came from the same batch.

What happens when something goes wrong?

This is where certification earns its keep. If a product does not perform — tape lifting in a hot warehouse, film tearing on the wrapper — the complaint is logged under a documented process, the batch is traced, and the root cause is investigated: sometimes the product, sometimes storage or application, as covered in our packaging solutions.
