OPP tape, also known as pressure-sensitive vinyl tape, is used frequently in an office setting to fix or hang things on the wall. From posters to white boards, OPP tape can be found holding down even the heaviest objects and surfaces in your office space. There are several different uses of OPP tape that are useful to know and can help you better organize your office space and create a more functional office environment.

1) Sealing Envelopes

While OPP tape is mostly associated with keeping boxes shut, it’s also great for sealing envelopes. You can use it to seal up anything from thank you notes to business invoices. When using OPP tape to seal your envelope, be sure to avoid covering any writing on your envelope; a good rule of thumb is that if you can still read what’s printed on your envelope, you aren’t covering it enough.

2) Hanging Charts

When brainstorming on a whiteboard or flippable chart, you can use OPP tape to mark up your writing and add new ideas as they come to mind. You can also use it as a way to leave yourself little reminders or take notes during meetings that you don’t want to forget but don’t have time for at the moment. For example, if you’re talking about something that would make sense for another department, jot it down with some OPP tape so you don’t forget about it later. Use some nice-looking paper, too.

3) Taping Receipts Together

If you have ever struggled to keep track of receipts during tax season, or worse yet, have lost a receipt (only to find it later, completely crumpled and illegible), then you understand how important it is to find an effective way to store receipts. Fortunately for those who hate clutter and filing cabinets filled with papers, there is a simple solution: organize them with OPP tape.

4) Closing Paperwork

OPP tape is extremely versatile and can be used for a variety of situations around an office. If you’re preparing to close or open a file, you can use it to seal envelopes, bind documents, and prepare folders for storage. It’s also great for temporarily closing holes on walls; just run a length of tape along the crack to keep drafts out. And lastly, if you accidentally break your phone charger or headphones cord, wrap some tape around both parts and they should snap back together after they dry! You might not realize how many uses there are for OPP tape until you think about it…but that’s why we’re here!

5) Branding with Label Tapes

When using a label maker to brand your business’s products or materials, you may be interested in using more than just standard labels. There are several other types of labels you can use to decorate, organize and make your product information stand out. One such type is known as OPP printed tape, which stands for opportunity packaging presentation with your own logo. It’s made from polypropylene film and is used primarily by businesses that offer marketing, promotional and fulfillment services. Like standard labeling tape, it sticks to almost any surface but also features strong adhesive and is weatherproof, helping to protect sensitive business information throughout distribution processes.

6) Sticking Stuff to Counters

Most offices have floors, tables, and walls that you can’t stick stuff to. Instead, consider using removable adhesive strips when you need to affix items somewhere other than these surfaces. They’re called OPP (other people’s products) tape because they have many uses—from labeling cables to hanging up posters. You can even use them to protect your furniture while moving! The best part is that when you’re done with your item/poster/cable-labeling session, you can take off all of your little OPP tapes and reuse them for something else later on.

7) Keeping Pens at Hand

OPP tape can hold pens upright and at-the-ready on any flat surface. Have a spot on your desk where pens tend to get lost? Try taping them to an out-of-the-way location—it may be convenient for you and also prevent other people from grabbing one (and never returning it). You can go high tech by putting a pen (with or without its cap) inside a cup or glass with OPP tape underneath, so that it’s always standing upright.

8) Labeling Important Items

In an office environment, it is often important to clearly label items and areas. In many instances, using duct tape or masking tape might work, but these tapes leave residue behind which can become distracting. There are alternatives to masking and duct tape which still allow you to label items without leaving sticky residue behind. OPP tape is one such option. It comes in a number of colors, including white and clear. This makes it ideal for labeling office equipment such as desks and chairs so that other employees know where their assigned space is located within a specific room or area.
